Rural Rhythm Records is set to release a single from their upcoming 55th Anniversary CD, All-Star Jam – Live At Graves Mountain, a collection of 12 tracks recorded at the 2010 Graves Mountain Festival Of Music this past summer.
The album includes band performances by Rural Rhythm artists, plus mash up combinations of artists created especially for this live session.
The single will be released to radio on September 26, a new song from Carl Jackson entitled Graves Mountain Memories. It’s performed with Jackson on guitar and vocal, sharing verses with Russell Moore, Audie Blaylock, and Lou Reid. Sammy Shelor played banjo, with Mike Hartgrove on fiddle, Wayne Benson on mandolin and Mike Anglin on bass.
Graves Mountain Memories will be included on the next Rural Rhythm Radio Sampler, which will be distributed at next week’s IBMA affair. Here’s a sample from the track.
